Performance Science
With 10+ years experience teaching in HE I deliver performance science workshops, lectures and presentations for vocational and pre-vocational training institutions and performing arts companies across the UK.
You can find an outline of various packages below but as we know all performers have different needs so please feel free to get in touch to discuss a bespoke package for your school or company. If needed I am also available to feed into funding applications with relevant evidence and policy to support your organisation in securing funding to provide these packages.

Performance Science Workshops and Lectures
Theoretical and practical workshops available for performing artists in training through to professionals on a range of topics including fitness, anatomy, alignment, posture, biomechanics, screening, flexibility, safe dance practice. I utilise a multi-modal, applied practice approach to teaching and am a keen advocate of universal learning whereby information is accessible in a range of formats rather than making adaptations to class material.
Performers will experience embodied learning as well as taking away written and visual resources to aid their understanding and retention of information.
I hold a MSc Dance Science, PGCHE and am Level 3 DSL trained with a enhanced DBS check.

Research and project evaluation
I have an excellent track record of securing funding for artistic projects from a range of trusts and foundations including ACE, Linbury Trust, City Bridge Trust, Sport England and AHRC.
Do you need an evaluation report for your dance for health project for your funder, or want to find a way to disseminate the impact of your work more widely? Available for research collaborations or project evaluation in the fields of dance science and dance for health.
Design a bespoke package which can include digital resources, academic papers, blogs, magazine articles, project reports, policy reports.
